Former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Afoko, has cleared the air regarding longstanding rumors that he is the sole owner of the luxury Kempinski Hotel in Accra.
Speaking in an interview on Channel One TV, Mr. Afoko explained that while he holds a financial stake in the five-star facility, he does not own it outright.
Mr. Afoko noted that after his suspension from active politics in 2015, he redirected his time and energy toward managing his private business investments in the hospitality and agricultural sectors.
His clarification settles years of public speculation and highlights how private investment and structured corporate financing can build major national landmarks.
