Ghanaian dancehall superstar Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., popularly known as Shatta Wale, has announced the rollout of his proprietary social messaging platform, "WAYA," inviting fans and early adopters to participate in its initial beta testing phase.
Taking to social media to unveil the initiative, the Shatta Movement leader described WAYA as an locally driven digital platform offering voice calls, text messaging, voice notes, and status updates. Shatta Wale revealed that access is currently restricted to Android users who sign up via early-access registration prior to a full commercial launch, emphasizing that the application was designed specifically to foster digital community connectivity across Africa under the theme "#TheAfricanWayToConnect."
