He highlighted that while Africa has made notable progress in reducing HIV and tuberculosis deaths, millions still suffer from undiagnosed conditions like chronic hepatitis. The President urged governments to treat healthcare spending as a critical economic investment, focus on local pharmaceutical manufacturing, and ensure summit commitments translate into measurable health outcomes for citizens.
