Addressing party insiders and supporters regarding ongoing unity initiatives, Mr. Afoko confirmed holding direct dialogue with Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong, reporting constructive outcomes aimed at dissolving grassroots factionalism often referred to as "the base party." Afoko emphasized that bridging internal divides and building broad consensus across party strongholds are essential prerequisites for securing victory under the leadership of NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. The reconciliation drive comes as the NPP undertakes comprehensive structural reorganization to consolidate its voter base, eliminate internal rifts, and project a unified front across all operational levels.
