Speaking on current legal proceedings surrounding anti-graft investigations, Dr. Srem-Sai refuted claims by Aboagye that there was no interrogation concerning the alleged GH¢55 million financial and procurement-related irregularities at the IMCCoD Secretariat. The Deputy Attorney-General clarified that the questioning covered the scope of the forensic audit report, which details suspected misappropriation, stealing, and financial loss to the state amounting to GH¢55 million. While Aboagye maintains that his personal queries pertained to a smaller GH¢5.2 million figure, state prosecutors reiterated that the full investigation encompasses the broader GH¢55 million sum and assured that due process will be strictly adhered to as the case progresses.
