Speaking on the floor of Parliament, the veteran lawmaker slammed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MPs for demanding immediate results from the current administration. He reminded the house that the project was originally started under the NDC but was left uncompleted despite the party spending eight full years in power. He argued that it is highly hypocritical to expect the new administration—which has only been in office for 15 months under President Mahama's current term—to magically fix a long-standing developmental delay overnight.
