Stonebwoy Announces BHIM Festival UK Debut | Discuss Ghana

On Friday, March 27, 2026, Ghanaian Afro-Dancehall superstar Stonebwoy officially announced that his flagship annual event, BHIM Festival, will make its historic United Kingdom debut on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

The festival is set to take place at the iconic 12,500-capacity OVO Arena Wembley in London, marking the first time a Ghanaian artist has headlined and self-produced a full-scale festival at this legendary venue.

A Decade of Dominance Goes Global

The announcement comes after ten successful editions of the festival in Ghana, including multiple sold-out shows at the Accra Sports Stadium:

The Vision: During an interview on Angel FM and an Instagram Live session, Stonebwoy explained that after a decade at home, "BHIM Fest has to move" to cater to the massive diaspora audience that typically travels to Ghana for the December show.

Not Just a Concert: Unlike a standard solo show, the London edition is being positioned as a full music festival experience, celebrating Afrobeats, Dancehall, and Ghanaian business and culture on an international stage.

Sarkodie Inspiration: Stonebwoy credited the "growing momentum" of fellow Ghanaian artists, specifically citing Sarkodie’s recent sold-out performance at the Royal Albert Hall, as motivation to keep pushing the boundaries for the industry.
