Julius Debrah Highlights Lifelong Bond with Kufuor Family | Discuss Ghana

During a recent gathering, Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff, shared a personal and historical anecdote about his long-standing relationship with former President John Agyekum Kufuor and his family.

A High School Mentorship

Debrah revealed that the bond between the two families traces back to their days at Achimota School:

The "School Father" Role: Julius Debrah recounted serving as the "school father" (senior mentor) to one of former President Kufuor’s sons during their time at high school.

Achimota Legacy: Debrah attended Achimota School for his A-Levels between 1987 and 1989, a period during which he provided guidance and mentorship to the younger Kufuor.

Cross-Party Respect: This revelation highlights a deep personal connection that transcends Ghana's typical political divides, as Debrah is a prominent figure in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) while Kufuor is a stalwart of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
